Service Description

Who should schedule this appointment? This appointment should be scheduled by an entity (charitable organizations) who requires tax exempt status. Upon booking the appointment, the client will receive an engagement letter, tax questionnaire and other documents to complete prior to the appointment. During the appointment, our firm will review the information and follow up with any documents that can assist with the preparation of the entity request. What this service includes? This service does not include accounting or tax planning services. This appointment is for the preparation of the tax exempt application only, which includes the following: * Request for state nonprofit entity status * Obtain client's employee identification number * Complete the preparation of the Form 1023EZ application * CPA to serve as Power of Attorney for the duration of application process * For simple tax exempt organizations only * Meeting with CPA Please note, the deposit amount will be applied to the cost of the service and final invoice. The deposit amount is nonrefundable. Clients can reschedule the appointment once if necessary by contacting our office by email at assistant@washcpallc.com. How to submit your documents to our firm Our firm uses an online server to retrieve information from clients. Clients can upload documents using the homepage of our website. Clients are required to submit their engagement letter, tax organizer and tax documents prior to the appointment. Upon booking, you will be provided a link to download the required files. Please note, if we do not have your documents at the time of the appointment, we may request you to reschedule. Follow up procedures Our firm begins processing your information as soon as possible. In order to complete your return timely, we request you submit your information timely. If you are unable to do so, please feel free to reach out to our office. If you do not submit files/requested information within sixty (60) days from the engagement, we may be required to close your file inactive.


Cancellation Policy

To cancel a session or appointment, please contact our office within 24 hours prior to the appointment. Appointments not cancelled during this time period will not be allowed to reschedule. Please note, deposits are nonrefundable. Appointments can be rescheduled only once after cancellation.
